The Green Gym made their third visit for 2018 on the last Wednesday in October. Once again their members worked long and hard cutting back the remains of the grass and flowers on the Butterfly meadow and removing the debris, so that the soil remains relatively poor, to provide the best conditions for next year’s wild flowers. There was a collection of rubbish behind the seat which was removed and that area was cleared of brambles. Ditches were also cleared and a drainage channel opened up under the newly repaired walkway. Our thanks go to this amazing band of volunteers once again.
