Work was done on the Green recently to clear the New Zealand Pygmy Weed from the pond. In past years it has been found that when the roots have formed a mat is the best time to remove as much as possible of this tenacious weed.
At the same time work was done on the trees near the entrance arch to raise their canopy so that the shade on the grass area nearby is not so intense, giving other plants a chance to flourish.

Well done John.
