A survey was carried out in July 2013 and repeated August 2014 to identify trees, plants, insects and birds on the Green.
Eleven varieties of bird were seen and five types of butterfly.
More than twenty species of trees and shrubs were found and there were over 70 types of ground flora, climbers and grasses, as well as a variety of microfungi, gall wasps, flies and micro moths. For more details click here
